The International Association of Black Triathletes (IABT) - Student Athlete Leadership Hybrid Program participants are hosting a Health & Wellness Community Giveback Event serving youth in undeserved and underrepresented communities through the sport of triathlon. Our Student-Athlete Leaders recently completed an 8-week comprehensive Leadership Training and Development through STEM, Career and College Readiness, Workforce Development, Education and Certification and Health and Wellness Program and in return, they have designed and now executing a triad initiative of giving back. This event is the Grand Finale of their triad initiatives.

They desire to share and to pass on blessings bestowed to them. Their Health & Wellness Community Giveback Event will take place on Saturday, September 26, 2020 from 10 am - 2 pm, in partnership with D4G Creative Arts Center. IABT's Student-Athlete Leaders have adopted Destined 4 Greatness Learning Center students and other youth for this event that register.

This Health & Wellness Community Giveback Event is a culmination of triad initiatives to support youth in undeserved and underrepresented communities while fighting the health disparities commonly known in urban communities (childhood and adult obesity and cancer). The goal is to get youth from deprived communities moving and engaging while GIFTING them with necessities for a successful school year.

Don't forget to Register for our 5K Run/Walk Virtual Fundraiser where all the proceeds go towards this event.  If you have any valuable but no longer needed clothes, coats, hat, shoes, and/or gloves, we will take them DONATE today (no later than September 4, 2020)

Thank you in advance for your support while getting fit at the same time. Your donation are tax-deductible.
